Recently,
Caraballo hosted a few members of the Kids Alive International leadership team.
It was a joy to have them at our site and encouraging to have their presence
and support. When asked, “What can the home office be praying for?” Here was my
response.
{As
I think about Christmas celebrations just around the corner, I reflect on what
Christmas means…”God with us”. Jesus our Savior born into our world to save us
from our sins. I am praying all year round, but especially during this season,
that the Gospel will be made clear to these children and that many will trust
in Jesus as their Savior}
I recently found out about two more third grade boys who decided to
follow Christ! Hallelujah, how beautiful! Rejoice with me and pray with me that
the Care Center can come alongside them as they grow in their new faith.
As
I anticipate celebrating Christmas this year, the familiar lyrics to this
Christmas carol come to mind when I think about what God is doing in Caraballo.
Hark
the herald angels sing
"Glory
to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled
Joyful, all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With
the angelic host proclaim:
"Christ
is born in Bethlehem"
Hark!
The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"
Christ
by highest heav'n adored
Christ
the everlasting Lord!
Late
in time behold Him come
Offspring
of a Virgin's womb
Veiled
in flesh the Godhead see
Hail
the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hark!
The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"
Hail
the heav'n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail
the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Ris'n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark!
The herald angels sing
"Glory to the newborn King!"
